Border Patrols are reportedly baffled as illegal immigrants fire themselves two hundred yards across the border and into the United States. This explosive Myth involves an unlikely series of events In the 1950's the Canadian air force had a number of wrecks in non-combat situations Their conclusion was, oxygen from the pilot's facemask, a t spark from the communications system and a dapper hair-do produced a deadly hair cream cocktail. Myth or fact?

ESCAPE SLIDE PARACHUTE
In Temple of Doom, everyone's favourite archaeologist, Indiana Jones, was stranded on a plane without a pilot, fuel or parachute. Desperately he grabs the emergency Life Raft and jumps. After a mid air inflation the life raft expands and acts as parachute. It's a physics-defying leap of faith, but can it be done is real world? And with a fall from a great height on the schedule will Buster call in sick?

Jamie and Adam look into the story of Vesna Vulovic. Supposedly this Yugoslavian flight attendant was in a Boeing DC-9 when a terrorist bomb went off at 33,000 feet. Incredibly rescue teams found her alive in the wreckage. Is this possible? Can a human being survive a terminal velocity fall?

Can a tissue box become a lethal missile? The myth states that, in a car crash, a box of tissues propelled forward from the rear shelf has enough force to crush your skull.

CHINESE INVASION ALARM
In this Myth, Mo Tsu, an ancient Chinese Philosopher, describes a subterranean sonar system that could detect an Invasion from below. Walled cities of 400 BC were susceptible to underground attacks and a system of sunken drums could pick up the sound of 'burrowing invaers over large distances. Adam and Jamie take to the pick and shovels to sort out this ancient conundrum.

SPLIT ARROW
Legend has it Robin Hood fired an arrow, splitting his opponent's completely in twain. But can it be done? Time to build an arrow-shootin' robot. Then, head for Renaissance Fair, and engage some ye olde archers in a contest. Whoever can split an arrow wins the MythBusters' coveted Golden Arrow Award. But the archers seem more interested in receiving a kiss from the fair mythbustin' maiden, Kari!
