In the film, Princess Aurora is cursed by Maleficent to die on her sixteenth birthday by pricking her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel. One of the good fairies, Merryweather, manages to lift some of its power, decreeing Aurora will instead sleep and awaken only with true love’s kiss. Despite efforts to hide Aurora away in the woods until the curse is void, Maleficent’s wickedness prevails. Having learned of her fate, Prince Phillip, with the aid of the good fairies, defeats Maleficent in combat and reaches Aurora to break the curse.

This dreamy accessory tells Aurora’s story, from her life as Briar Rose in the forest to finding her true identity as a Princess. On the front, she is seen strolling past the royal castle as Briar with her animal friends, whom she enchants with her kind nature and angelic singing voice. That voice also enchants Prince Phillip, who can be seen on the back dancing with Aurora among the clouds, having freed her from the curse with the power of true love. Flora, Fauna and Merryweather are also seen flying above the castle, watching over Aurora as they always have.
