Q) Do the KONG Refillables contain catnip?  
A) Each refillable toy comes with a vial of KONG Premium North American Catnip. These toys are designed be filled with catnip through the Velcro opening. This helps attract cats to the toy and encourages play, and toys can be refreshed with catnip from time to time.  

Q) What makes the KONG Refillables fun for cats?  
A) The catnip in the toy initially attracts cats to play, if cats have the gene that allows them to respond to catnip (about 70% of cats). These toys are designed to mimic small prey that cats can chase, bat, and capture, while the soft fabrics provide comfort. Playing with KONG Refillables will help cats release instinctual energy in a healthy way.  

Q) How should KONG Refillables toys be used with cats?  
A) As with any new cat toy, the first play session with a KONG refillable catnip toy should be conducted under supervision. The area should be clear of all other toys, especially catnip toys, so that there is nothing to distract from the new toy.  
If your cat is sensitive to catnip, he or she should quickly show an interest in the toy, stalking it, inspecting it, and/or sniffing the toy. Your cat may then attack the toy, wrestling with it or bunny-kicking it, in part due to the reaction to catnip. You may also notice your cat carrying the toy off to one of its comfort zones around the house.  
If your cat accepts the initial introduction to the toy, you can increase the excitement by playing games of hide and seek with the toy. Hide the toy somewhere in the house, along with other catnip toys, so that your cat can discover them throughout the day.

A) There are currently 18 different KONG Refillables toys. The new 'bright' designs are:  Bright Fox, Bright Hedgehog, Bright Kangaroo, Bright Platypus and Bright Turtle
